how can i change this picture?

i want to change sakura's hair to brown and black and make it look like i didn't change it at all like its faded with the rest of the picture?

First off my answer will work with Digital photos, or pictures.



First you want to open it in an editing program. (Adobe photoshop elements is awesome, but you should be able to do it with others as well)



You'll want to make a duplicate layer of the image. Then you'll want to work within the second layer (not the first). Use the selection tool to (lasso tool) to select just the black hair (or area you want to change). You can then change the color of the selected area. Choose whichever color you want until you find the right combination. Now, back in the layers pallet you can go and make the oppacity of the layer change. THIS will help to make the image look as if it hasn't been changed.
