I found Cardio (ie. walking and running) to be most effective.

As it is difficult or pretty much impossible to target one specific area for weight loss... the best exercise to do is the kind that elevates your heart rate for at least 20 minutes at a time...



Love handles aren't good for your health and recent studies have shown they do increase risk for many diseases... they are difficult as hell to get rid of though!

running is good for that, but you can also use free weights by holding one 15 lb weight and with your other hand behind your head lean over to the side with the weight in your other hand and do reps like that bending from the waist to the side with the weight. Or you can use a broomstick behind your neck and hold it with your hands and swing side to side, twisting your sides. you can also do twisting dance moves side to side.
