Ok so I'm looking to buy my self a new guitar and I was thinking of buying an epiphone black beauty new but my dad who is a really cheap guy found a website were they sold Gibson models new at a really cheap price(lower than 400 dollars) so I just want to show you guy the guitar and see if you think that its an actually a gibson or just a cheap copy.

Notice that the fingerboard looks brown when it should be black.

I, myself, would never buy any thing over 100 dollar on the internet. To be honest, it doesn't look that really considering the fingerboard (neck) is brown and not black. If your looking for a cheap price go with that. If you do make sure to get the insurance so if you have a problem you can send it back for a refund. I don't know if they have it on trade tang.com, but they do on ebay. Also, look at the feedback they get. If it was me, I would go with my instincts and not buy it. I'd go to a guitar shop, so I know I'm getting the real deal.

Hope this helped.

dont trust it man. i doubt you can get it that cheep. looks like a gibson custom which costs $3000 plus. there are ways to check if its fake. you can check the tone compared to other gibson models. a different nut, the neck is suppose to have dot inlays(unless it is a gibson faded sg special which has cresent .inlays), check to see if the fretboard wears, check serial numbers(which doesnt always work). hope i helped
